The gold collection is inspired by the ceremonious attire of the first unifying monarch of Georgia, Bagrat III. Depicted on the mural in Bedia Monastery, the king is covered in a special brownish-red robe, complemented by a collar (‘maniac’) and a long strip of precious textile (lorum). Both the collar and the lorum display noble stones, also presented in the sumptuous crown of the king. By featuring natural stones, Zarapxana created jewelry that conveys the sophisticated style of the powerful ruler.
